Cooking on the Square is a delicious fundraising event for The Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity which funds the opportunity to build a home for a local, hard-working family.
WCTE Central TN – PBS – Great TV Auction
WCTE, the Upper Cumberland PBS, is a small rural public media organization located in Cookeville, Tennessee and serving a fourteen-county region, known as the Upper Cumberland. It is the only broadcast television station in a seventy-five-mile radius of Cookeville, nestled in between Knoxville, Nashville and Chattanooga.
Highland Residential Services – Teens Need Training
The Residential Services department provides after-school and summer programs for youth in the and around the HRS public housing developments. TNT provides the teens with meals, homework or tutoring assistance, a computer lab as well as introductions to professions and education opportunities.
Art Round Tennessee – ART Prowl
Art Round Tennessee is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization based in the city of Cookeville and dedicated to supporting artists in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee. The mission of ART is to provide opportunities to engage all people in experiencing and creating art and keeping art in the public eye, thereby promoting Cookeville as a growing and vibrant arts destination that encourages and supports economic opportunities. The ART Prowl is Art Round Tennessee's annual two-day art fair in Cookeville to see artists local to Tennessee's Upper Cumberland exhibiting in small businesses, galleries, and studios throughout Cookeville's Downtown and West Side. Art Prowl features artwork for sale, artist demonstrations, workshops, and other art-filled fun!
